With over 250 cultivation experts, Delphy is the knowledge company for entrepreneurs in all vegetable sectors. Developing knowledge and making it applicable is in our DNA and therefore forms Delphy’s main activity.
At Delphy Team arable farming Southeast Netherlands, seven consultants are active. They offer growers and other parties in the arable farming sector expert and independent advice. They also conduct independent research to support the advice. For the Gelderland region and for the Central and South Limburg region, we are looking for an advisor in arable farming. The Job
As a consultant arable farming, you are engaged in giving advice to Delphy clients. These are mostly growers whom you provide with customised advice, aimed at optimising their business results. You apply a combination of high-quality cultivation-technical knowledge and a sense of entrepreneurship in order to timely identify opportunities and threats for the grower. You closely follow current trends and innovations within the sector and know how to translate these into concrete applications for Delphy and its clients. You deal with the technical side of cultivation, such as advice on fertilisation, crop protection and storage. You are also a sparring partner in business matters such as sales, legislation and strategy.
In addition, the team is involved in innovative projects and conducts independent research for clients. As much as possible, this developed knowledge is used to support advice. To this end, you consult with clients about jointly setting up innovative projects in arable farming. In short, a versatile position in which you can use all your entrepreneurial and advisory skills and ensure that clients can innovate and improve their agricultural business.

You bring with you
An enterprising (junior) consultant with a hands-on mentality who
- has a hbo or wo education level, preferably in arable farming, horticulture and/or plant sciences
- work experience is an advantage, not a requirement
- can work independently and in a team
- takes initiative;
- has good communication skills, is committed and persuasive;
- is result- and customer-oriented;
- is in possession of a car driving licence.
