With over 250 cultivation experts, Delphy is the knowledge company for entrepreneurs in all vegetable sectors. Developing knowledge and making it applicable is in our DNA and therefore forms Delphy’s main activity.
In Delphy Team Agriculture Southwest Netherlands, 15 advisors and researchers are active. They offer growers and other parties in the arable farming sector expert and independent advice. Independent research is also carried out within the area to support the advice.
The job
You give growers customised advice aimed at optimising their business results. In doing so, you apply a combination of high-quality cultivation-technical knowledge and a sense of entrepreneurship in order to identify opportunities and threats for the grower in good time so that you can deliver added value. On the one hand, you deal with the technical side of cultivation, such as advice on fertilisation, crop protection and storage. On the other hand, you are a sparring partner in business matters such as sales, legislation and strategy.

You bring with you
An enterprising (junior) consultant with a hands-on mentality who wants to develop in arable farming who:
- Has a hbo or wo education level, preferably in arable farming, horticulture, plant sciences
- Has work experience (this is an advantage, not a requirement)
- Is able to work independently and in a team
- Takes initiative
- Communication skills, commitment and confidence
- Result and customer-oriented
- In possession of a car driving licence
