The Delphy Flower Bulbs/Bulb Flowers team employs six advisors/researchers. They offer expert and independent advice to entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in the flower bulb sector. Delphy conducts independent research and knowledge development at its Flower Bulbs Research Center in Lisse.
Tasks Researcher / consultant flowerbulbs
As a researcher/consultant, you will conduct research and provide bulb growers with expert advice on a wide range of topics, such as cultivation, crop protection, fertilization, storage, and business operations. You will serve as a sparring partner for entrepreneurs and chain parties in the sector. Your research projects and advice will be tailor-made and aimed at improving or optimizing business results. You will be actively involved in setting up and implementing knowledge development projects and translating this knowledge into practical applications.
You will work in a team of expert colleagues and researchers. In collaboration with the team, you will build up your knowledge and skills and provide entrepreneurs and other parties in the flower bulb sector with new knowledge.
Your work area is mainly the South and North Holland regions where flower bulbs are grown. You will mainly work from home and from our office in Hillegom.Required
- Work experience is not required but is an advantage.
- You are interested in plant cultivation and flower bulbs.
- You are interested in research and knowledge.
- You are enterprising, creative, commercially minded, used to working independently, and have strong communication and social skills.
- In addition, you live and/or work within your future work area.
- You have a driver’s license (B).
