For our Projects and Innovations team, we are looking for a project officer with communication skills who is also good at organising. If you are communicatively strong, a real connector, have a heart for the agricultural sector and are also looking for a broad function, then this position is for you!
The Job
As a project officer, you will support the project leaders with a wide variety of activities, from organising meetings with farmers and growers, contributing to plans and reports, to carrying out the communication activities in European and national projects aimed at innovation in agriculture and horticulture. Many of these projects revolve around knowledge transfer. We want to bring innovations and knowledge that contribute to a more sustainable agriculture and horticulture sector as much as possible to relevant stakeholders, such as advisors and farmers.
You have some affinity with the content, but what really energises you is thinking about HOW we get this content to the target groups. With your creativity, you know how to represent the medium at least as well as the message. You maintain relationships with agricultural entrepreneurs, the business community and other relevant organisations. With your knowledge and experience of learning processes, you contribute to the strong transition we see from ‘advisor’ to ‘coach’. You will work closely with the project leaders within the team, but also with advisors of the teams and the international partners in the projects.

- You are project officer who is communicatively strong and can connect. You have affinity with and knowledge of agriculture and horticulture and of learning and communication processes
- You preferably have an affinity with agriculture and horticulture and a pragmatic attitude
- You preferably have some experience working in projects
- You are a natural networker and connector, able to work independently and in a team
- You have strong communication skills and a committed and convincing attitude
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages
- You are strong in social media
- You have completed a Bachelor’s degree in communication and/or project management
