You would like to contribute to the development of the horticulture and arable farming sector. On the one hand, the sector where our food is produced with the greatest skill. On the other hand, there are also challenges, energy use, crop protection but also the quality of the living environment are under a magnifying glass. All sides are working on knowledge and innovations for a future-proof agriculture; we want to bring new insights to relevant stakeholders as much as possible.

The internship assignment

Results of our projects and studies depend on activating farmers and market gardeners. What really energises you is thinking about HOW we get the content to the target groups. You have some affinity with the content and with your creativity you know how to use the medium at least as well as the message. Within the internship assignment, you will deal with the project leaders within the projects and innovations team, the advisors in the various Delphy teams, agricultural entrepreneurs, the business community and other relevant organisations. By working out the role of knowledge manager (teacher, trainer, project assistant) in Garden and Arable Farming, you will contribute to the further development of our team. After this internship, you will know more about crops and developments in the vegetable sectors while helping us think about didactic skills and use of different communication media.

Required skills

  • Minimal HBO;
  • Educational background in knowledge management, knowledge of didactic skills;
  • Heart for the agricultural sector is a preference;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Organisational talent;
  • A real connector;
  • Independence and proactivity in carrying out tasks;
  • An internship period of at least 4 months.
