This is what you will be doing as Financial Controller
As a Financial Controller, you will play an active role in ensuring a smooth financial planning and control cycle. With your fresh perspective and incisive analyses, you will enhance our reporting and help take our financial processes to the next level.
Your responsibilities will include:Financial reporting and analysis
• Preparing monthly reports and financial statements;
• Checking figures, analysing variances and identifying risks;
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statement files and audit preparation.
Budgeting & forecasting
• Gathering input from colleagues and departments;
• Preparing draft budgets and forecasts;
• Monitoring budgets throughout the year and identifying variances.
Internal control & process improvement
• Carrying out checks on the accuracy and completeness of financial processes;
• Contributing to the improvement of AO/IC procedures and work processes;
• Contributing ideas on digitisation, standardisation and efficiency within Finance.This is what we are looking for
• A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree (e.g. Business Economics, Finance & Control, Accountancy);
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in Finance & Control;
• Strong Excel skills and an affinity with financial systems;
• Strong analytical skills, accurate, structured and proactive;
• You thrive in a dynamic organisation and interact easily with a variety of colleagues;
• You have a passion for figures and process improvement;
• Knowledge of AFAS is an advantage.Our offer
