Knowledge development
At our modern research and demonstration site in Horst, you will work on knowledge that can be directly applied to soft fruit cultivation. Through practical research, demonstrations and cultivation optimisation, you will contribute to a resilient and sustainable sector. You will work in a realistic and innovative setting, with access to a high-tech greenhouse complex, tunnel systems and extensive tray fields.
Examples of research
- Resilient cultivation of tray plants
- Optimisation of everbearing crops
- Sensor and data applications in woody small fruit
- Fertilisation strategies for raspberry cultivation
- Variable LED lighting in strawberries
Knowledge implementation
Together with national and international partners, you actively share knowledge with the sector. You do this during leading events, practical days and knowledge sessions. We respond to the questions of growers and companies. Knowledge is actually applied in practice.
