Team Sub-Saharan Africa
Delphy divides Africa into several regional teams, such as Kenya, Egypt and Guinea. Led by experts, the team develops local cultivation solutions, such as irrigation optimisation for small farmers in Kenya.
Team Middle East & North Africa
In this region, we help growers with innovative greenhouse projects and virus management. We design integrated cultivation models and hygiene protocols, fully tailored to climate and trade conditions. We work closely with local staff and share knowledge about greenhouse cultivation and business methods. We also conduct extensive market studies.
Team Egypt
Our team in Cairo, Egypt, coordinates activities in North Africa. We support growers, farmers and investors with innovative knowledge for both open field and protected cultivation. We develop integrated cultivation plans that are tailored to specific cultivation and business conditions. Together with our local team, we share expertise through agricultural advice and customised capacity-building programmes. We conduct market analyses and feasibility studies and supervise agricultural projects. With the Delphy Gender Programme in Egypt, we are committed to empowering young people and women in the agricultural sector.
Team Central Asia
In Central Asia (Kazakhstan), we supervise tunnel systems and automated irrigation in dry zones. Through intensive collaboration with local growers, we successfully realise greenhouse designs based on climate data and cultivation trials.
Team French-speaking West Africa
In Senegal, we bring together innovative greenhouse cultivation, practical education and local capacity building. We develop training courses for small farmers and translate Dutch knowledge to the local context. In this way, we work with our partners to build sustainable, climate-proof agriculture – with a focus on food security and strong local involvement.
